Your teacher will issue 4 case studies that include factors that led to the fall of Venice.

a) foreign threats
b) maritime competition
c) political challenges
d) social challenges

Section A

You will work in your groups on an assigned case study and produce a 12-slide GooglePresentation on your case study.
  • Slide 1) case study title and group members’ names
  • Slides 2-8) description of factors in that case study, inclusive of pictures to showcase the factors in the case study
  • Slides 9-10) explanation on how the factors have contributed to the fall of Venice
  • Slide 12) credits and references

The standards for your oral presentation are:

You will work in your groups to come up with suitable formative assessments (see list below) to help your peers to consolidate their learning of your case study. Guideline for the duration of your formative assessment is 5 minutes (max). Suggested formative assessments include:
  • crossword puzzle
  • cloze passage
  • quiz (online or hardcopy)
  • short-answer questions
  • graphic organisers
  • etc.
